Disneyland to other park

I have been to WDW several times and only Disneyland once. We are coming in and staying at the HoJo for afew days and doing Disneyland. We are trying to do one day at Universal and wonder what is the best way to get there? We will have no car. Any ideas? I guess while I am on the subject I need to see what is the best way from the airport (LAX) to the HoJo.

For LAX to the Anaheim HoJo transfers we've either taken the Disneyland express ($99/family return) or a shuttle (Karmel vans range from $60-80 each way for a family of 4, and other shuttle companies are priced similarly). Taking a taxi is also possible (about $100 each way), and there are many limo services ($70-200 each way, try limos.com if you're interested).
