Disneyland to LAX

We booked Lanskys for our ride from Disneyland to LAX on departure day. Our flight leaves at 9:05AM on Saturday May 28 (domestic flight) and I chose a 5:45AM pickup time. I keep hearing that airport security lines are insane right now and some people say to arrive *3* hours early now??? Anyone been to LAX lately? Should we schedule our Lanskys ride to be earlier? Thanks for any help!

I am the biggest Uber fan but car availability at 5:45am on a Saturday can be hit or miss.

We just returned from our trip yesterday. We took the Disneyland Resort Express at 9am and my flight left at 1:05 on American. I didn't know when to go since TSA in Chicago is at 3 hours average. It took us 45 minutes to check a bag and get through security. Before we left LAX we asked a TSA in the Virigin/JetBlue terminal how early we should arrive and he said for those arriving before 9am to give extra time because that is where it has been the busiest time. I would make sure you have at least 1 full hour before you board to get through security.

I was just able to rent a compact car from June 1-4 at Alamo for 56.00 all in, this was less expensive than a shuttle for us. I used coupon ad3868jst, and the Disney Pass code of 15000. You might want to consider renting a car if you hotel offers free parking.

We left the Disneyland Hotel around 9:15 and arrived at Terminal 4 for American at 10:15. - Traffic was fine until closer to the airport, there was an accident on the road just being removed and our driver dropped us off at arrivals instead of departures since it was really busy). Disneyland Resort Express only leaves on the hour from Disneyland Hotel. We decided to go earlier and just eat lunch at the airport, just in case lines were long.

Thanks. So, hopefully we will get there by 6:45-7:00 which would be 2 hours early, which is what both TSA and Southwest are recommending for LAX. I have just heard so many things about people waiting in the TSA line for 3 hours that I was starting to worry.

Perpect pick up time, get to the LAX around 6:45am. 2 hours 20min advance.
LAX very busy between 5:00-9:00am. 5:45am pick up at the hotel...good to go
