Disneyland Tickets....Discounts available?

My family is going to DL/CA in May. Are there discount tickets available to pre-purchase? We live in New Jersey and Nevada...so Southern California discounts aren't an option. I tried searching the boards and couldn't find the information, so if there IS another thread, I apologize.

Some people use Last Minute Travel and get around 50 dollars off and if you are active duty military there is a great discount but nothing else really.

That $50 off is for a five day ticket and would be less for tickets of shorter duration. It works out to be roughly $10 off per day (so $40 off on a four day ticket, etc.)

You can google for a free membership code. There is no need to pay for it.

The thing with LastMinuteTravel is you have to join lmtclub to see (and get) the discounts. It is $50 to join but retailmenot almost always has coupon codes for free memberships. We used them for our trip last week with no problem. They can sometimes be a little slow sending out the etickets (they are tickets not vouchers so you can print them out and take them to the gate or load them into the Disneyland app) but if you call them they can get them sent more quickly (we waited until the last minute to decide to go so I called them to make sure they were sent on time and had them within a few hours). I have used them a couple of times and they have been great.

I have used LMT Club with great success and many others have as well.

Also these are not vouchers but the actual Disney eticket (apparently some other places use vouchers where you need to exchange), I was able to load these to my app so it was really convinent

Not until you pass through the gates. I believe the only way you can buy MaxPass ahead of time is if you buy tickets from Disneyland. Regardless of where you buy them, you can't make your first FastPass until you go through the gates.

We were able to add MP to our LMT tickets right after we went through the turnstiles. Since we already had a credit card on file and had previously scanned the bar codes into the app, the whole process took only a few minutes for all the tickets.

Can I purchase tickets from lmtravelclub for 2019?

I think the current vouchers expire early in 2019. Someone who has recently purchased LMT tickets can confirm this. You can always call LMT to ask them what the current expiration date is on their DLR vouchers. Since your trip is a year away in April, I would think you should be able to purchase your vouchers fairly soon.

As a point of reference, the tickets we bought for our trip last week had an expiration date of January 2020.
