Disneyland Ticket Purchase

Does anyone know if sales tax is charged on top of the cost of your DL ticket price if you buy tickets at the ticket booth at DLR? We don't pay sales tax in Oregon, so I'm trying to decide if I should buy our tickets in advance here.

No sales tax on Disneyland tickets! The price online is what you pay!

I was under the impression that any taxes were simply rolled into the price of the tickets. However, I looked it up and the California Board of Equalization (the sales tax collector in California founded originally to ensure "equal" assessments for property taxes) has an exception in the sales tax treatment because there's no exchange of "tangible property". I guess there may be if you get a first visit button. And the maps are included. Not that I'm complaining.

Can you still buy park tickets (hoppers) at the Disney Store? I am assuming that they wouldn't have sales tax included?

The cost for tickets at the Disney store is the same as the cost of the disney website with no sales tax. I bought mine from the disney store.
