Here is the double silhouette of my wife and I. I may have paid for two, I'm not sure. Anyway, it was less than $20, including frame, and the lady wouldn't accept a tip.

Very nice. You always get 2, when they cut them out they cut 2. I gave the other one to my Mom, she loves it.

If there are 2 images in the photo, you are charged twice the fee, since they have to cut two different silhouettes. You always get two copies which are opposite profiles.

I discovered that you can have your silhouette done with characters that you like. I had mine done with Jiminy Cricket. This time I go, I might see if they can do Pinocchio.

Sometimes I purchase one frame. I have many of my silhouettes hanging in my house. I always include them in my scrapbooks.

I would LOVE to see some photos of your silhouettes or your scrapbooking with them, that is, if you were willing to share

I am REALLY looking forward to getting these done! In fact I'm going to design our holiday card around them!

This is what my kiddos are giving my mom for Christmas. I used a 5x7 mat and frame and the inside opening of the mat is 3.5x5. The mat completely covers all of the black swirls and you can't tell that the intended shape of the silhouette is oval at all! I'm going to frame our copies of the silhouettes with the same 3.5x5 opening but use a wider mat so we can frame them in bigger frames.

My grandparents had ours done in 1974 or 1975 Me, my sister and my 2 brothers. The frames were wood back then. My grandmother passed away 5 years ago and my mother now has them. We are taking my son age 6 for his first DLR trip this month and it is at the top of our list to have my sons done and since we get two I will give one to Mom and one for me. Have spent months finding frames to match the 4 originals at Mom's. So 4 frames sitting here that match the wooden ones from the 70's (Oh 4 is because am trying to talk the DH into doing a couples portrait too)

Hi all,

Our family visited Disneyland for the first fantastic time in 2008 and are hopefully visiting again in 2012. In the time since our visit the picture frames on two of our silhouettes (the oval ones) have become damaged (2 boisterous boys kicking ball inside the house!! ) and I would like to know if it is possible to order replacement frames on-line or not. Being from Australia we may not get back as soon as we would like.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

My DD had a snow globe incident recently (a treasured souvenir was dropped by a little cousin) & I just contacted merchandiseguestservices@disney.go.com to order a replacement & have it shipped to us in Sydney & they were very helpful. I'm sure if you contacted them as well they could help out
