What are some of the fun, unique, special to Disneyland secrets that you have found or can tell me about? I know I read about the apple at the Snow White ride, but what other unique things are there?

Spider and web in Haunted Mansion dining room actually covering a pellet gun bullet hole in the glass.

Pet cemetery on the Splash Mountain side of the Haunted Mansion (only accessible with a cast member present)

There a tons of hidden gems.

The Golden Spike under the castle is a surveyor's mark. There are several others in the parks. Have a look for the corresponding one by the Main St train station.

Thanks for pointing this out. I'm retired now, but my working life consisted of developing computer databases for survey control applications for a couple of Canadian Provinces. As such, I'm always interested when I stumble across a survey control marker at Disneyland, particularly a marker with an image of the castle on it. I'm actually more interested in this spike as a survey control marker, than if it was some sort of symbolic golden spike marking the centre of Disneyland. I'll definitely have to make it a point to take a look at the marker during my next trip in August.

Around 1984 or so, a survey engineer co-worker of mine returned from a conference in California, and mentioned that many surveyors/engineers had the hobby of trading/collecting survey control markers. He said that the survey control markers provided by the engineer from the City of Anaheim were in hot demand because of the castle images that appeared on them.

Yes, me too. But I've found that the three second glance I get of Max, Buff, and Melvin each time I ride Winnie the Pooh softens the blow somewhat.

EDIT: something else I guess I'd consider a secret is the existence of the feral cats at Disneyland/CA. It always brightens my day when I catch a glimpse of one.

Don't forget the first pickle of the day. Stop by the fruit cart on main street right next to starbuck first thing in the morning i know it's really early to buy a pickle but you will get an i am celebrating button that reads first pickle of the day with the date written on it. Its a lot of fun to explain to people who ask what you are celebrating and even a few CM's had no idea about the button.

The Snow White Apple didn't work for me. Also does the Snow White well have singing or is it the waterfalls that do?

It hasn't worked for me in the past few trips I tried it, either. When Snow White sings at her grotto, the song comes from her, and the echo comes from the well.
