Disneyland restaurant reservation policies

I apologize if this has been discussed here before as I am sure it has, but I missed it. Sorry. Could someone please tell me the policy on restaurant reservations or priority seating in DL resort area (including hotel rest. and park rest.) Thank you. I have only been to DW and I am not sure if DL follows the same policy. I thought I read something about reservations, not priority seating for DL restaurants. Also, can you make reservations ahead of time for the Blue Bayou? Thanks so much for any help on this. Have a great Day!

Most nicer restaurants take advanced PS through 714/781-DINE. That includes Blue Bayou. Rainforest Cafe and perhaps others have their own number for PS, but I believe most of the other restaurants at DTD, the resort hotels, DL, and GCA now use the 781-DINE number. I believe you can make reservations up to 60 days in advance.

To determine which restaurants accept PS, you can check the Disneyland websit. Look for the PS symbol next the the name of the restaurant. At Disneyland, Blue Bayou and Carnation Cafe recommend PS. At GCA, Ariel's Grotto, The Vineyard Room, and the Wine Country Trattoria take PS. Most of the sitdown restaurants on DTD and at the hotels also take PS.

Thanks CalGal!! I want to make sure we get to try a couple of restaurants while we are there in August since I do not know when we will ever get back there and we will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary this summer so I want to have atleast one special dinner and maybe try Blue Bayou for lunch.
