I have taken the DLR Express before, but it was in 2012, and my memory of the experience is only so-so.
Last time we caught rush hour traffic to Anaheim, and the bus had a mechanical issue in traffic. It was only a small delay added onto the traffic, but I remember it taking quite a while to get to our hotel and get settled.
When we left, we were still on such a Disney high, I don't recall the ride time to the airport (LAX). We were just glad the driver was very cheerful and kind, and there was AC and a movie on for the kids. Much different from the first ride.
We land on a Tuesday at 3:15pm at LAX - We're going to try and sprint with our carry-ons to catch the 3:45 bus departure. I imagine we may sit in traffic to Anaheim again... so if there is traffic - how long is the expected ride?
We leave on a Sunday again to LAX, our flight departs at 4:55pm. I of course want to hang out as long as I can before leaving, so would I be ok catching the 2:00pm bus to LAX, or should I be all over prepared and leave on the 1:00pm bus? Is there traffic on a Sunday?
