We are arriving at 12:03PM and the bus leaves SNA at 12:30PM. Is it possible to make the bus or will we have to wait for the next one at 1:30PM?

You probably won't make it. The baggage is slow at SNA and then you have to walk to the left about 10 mins to get to the DRE spot. But the good news is you can leisurely make your way over there instead of rushing And then on the bus you can relax for 20 mins.
