Disneyland Reopening Speculation Superthread

Yes, we need news. I’m at a point that I might make a tentative WDW trip. Flights will never be this cheap again. I just don’t want to be a contributor of a problem if FL numbers keep rising.

They haven't been rising for a while.

If you plan to stay onsite and don't have an AP or FL residency you'll need the cheap flights to make up for no hotel discounts (at least right now).

I'm ready for them to release 2021 reservations so I can move my reservation to next summer and be done with it. I would cancel outright, but I got my package before the ticket price increase and those lower prices keep getting moved with each change.

It could be regarding Ratatouille at Epcot.
Maybe.....the Disney blog has an entire article on the Ratatouille adventure coming to Epcot, so I can’t see anything “dropping” about it. I feel like any news about it would be more like an update tweet from him, but the tweet is so vague I wouldn’t be surprised if it was for something like that.

I just checked and ours is still in the system (9/13-9/16)
Still no cancellations after 9/15?
I just checked my reservation 9/25 - 9/28 and it is still in the system. I don't think any new news has been released. But, the governor released a new plan and some people were saying that it could mean theme parks could be closed until 2021. I don't have the link, but it was some kind of color coded plan. I'm sure if you do an internet search you can find it.

question for those who have stays booked at an on site hotel? Does it say if restaurants at the hotel will be open? Will shops at the hotel be open? Pool?
I have tried to stay away from this DL board because as i have said to DH about 3 times a day " I miss Disney sooo much"

If they start opening up a bit in the fall I would 100% consider taking a trip and staying at the hotel and going to DTD.

Nothing at all. But I don't expect to hear anything until they announce a new opening date. (I have Sep 19-20 booked on expiring DVC points.)

Based on WDW, I would expect pools, yes. Restaurants - some but not all.

Thanks. I have not read much on what WDW has done because I then get to carried away planning and expecting things lol. Hoping they announce something soon.
I might just book something now.

So I am at work and couldn't go back enough to find anything--is there a reason we think there was supposed to be an announcement today? I am going to be so mad if I cancelled my late Sept. trip and they open up. LOL!

I don't understand the issue with having to reserve days at the park... couldn't they just offer same day reservations in which case the only way you couldn't go spur of the moment was if the park was full but at least you would know that before the hassle of getting to the park and waiting in a long line at the gate?
