Disneyland Reopening Speculation Superthread

Been craving Earl of Sandwich. Maybe this weekend I will take a ride over to look. Does anyone have any thoughts on APs that have expired during the closure if they will be good for discounts on purchases? My AP technically expired late March, but I will be getting those days added on (actually shows on the WDW side since it is a Premier pass). Not sure if I want to go look if my discount will not be applying.

WDW begins selling 2020 park tickets tomorrow per rteetz. He said WDW-only but hopefully it’s a good sign that DLR will sell 2020 tickets before DLR reopens.

Hmm...Naples is on the list but not Napolini. Anyone think that was an oversight?

No, Naples has outdoor seating. It may not be financially doable for them to open Napolini at the moment for decreased revenue.

Does anyone know if they are charging for parking at DtD when it reopens? City walk is waiving parking charges right now, hoping DtD will do the same.

Gothic Rosie has reported that it will be free temporarily. So we will see I guess.

Napolini is all outdoor seating and to go, essentially. It seems strange that they would not open it up. It is always popular.

Depends. 3 rows of 4. if party of 2 riders - could feasibly do row 1 : seat 1-2; and row 3 set 3-4 with pretty good physical distancing. That's 33% ride capacity on a 25% capacity -- math says nearly matched at least in the beginning unless everyone flocks to IJA.

I think harder capacity controls will be nemo subs and small world
Yes, but the word coming out of CM previews is one party per ride vehicle. That means there could conceivably be one or two people per vehicle times a lot. I think more couples or groups of two go to DLR for day trips as compared with entire families who vacation at WDW. I foresee a lot of empty seats and subsequently longer lines at DLR.

I remember it being closed in October 2019, and I think it was still closed even in March 2020, but I can't recall if I walked by it or not.
Interesting. My friend’s brother in law got a smoothie from there in October. Only remember because it took him 1 HOUR to walk from Jamba all the way to fantasyland because it was so crowded (ugh Columbus Day). It probably closed down later that month.
