Hi,
We are hoping to go Mar 17-23. How will the crowds be? Is it spring break? How can I a decent airfare. We are leaving from Detroit to Lax. There seems to be only two airlines that fly direct from detroit to la area. If anyone know anything different I will be greatful.

My suggestions to possibly find good airfare would be to check out the other local airports....
JohnWayne/Orange County-- SNA
LongBeach-- LGB
I dont know if they would be cheeper or if they have direct flights, but it is worth a looksee

It is spring break for us here in Arizona.....

CA schools are not on Spring break during that time, from what I understand.

However, here in AZ, we ARE on Spring Break that week (at least our little district is...not sure of others around the state....) so we will actually be there at the same time you are (3/15-3/18).

Here's hoping it's not too crowded!!

Ooh! Kayla's mom...where in PHX are you? What district?

I'm up here in Havasu...and it's our Spring Break that week...I was just going to try to find out when PHX area schools are out...

We are in North Phoenix. Paradise Valley School District. We may be there that week too! :)

We are in Northern CA, and that is our spring break. We are off March 16-27th. I think it will be busy. We go every year in March, and it is busy, but if you are like us and need to go when the kids are out of school, then we really have no choice. We just grin and bear it ;-) and have fun anyway.

We are in Nor Cal as well and it is NOT our Spring Break. Ours is in April. There is a good chance that it will be crowded but if you expect that ahead of time and know how to use fastpass you will be OK.

All these "worried about spring break crowd" posts have me laughing. Our first trip was in 2006 over Easter weekend. I'm sure it would have been considered crowded, but you know what? As an adult with 3 17-18 year olds, two of whom had never been to DLR, it didn't matter. Not even one little bit.

Stop worrying, and go have FUN!!!!
