I saw it on another board - people there said that one (maybe both) of them were cast members, the guy supposedly part of the HSM show. It's on Disney's youtube channel, so it seems like most of it was 100% staged, though the jury is out about whether the girl knew.

I'll admit I teared up at the excitement of it, though I'm not quite sure how I would've handled it if I was the new bride!

I read through all the comments and it seems it was not real but a part of the "What will you celebrate?". Someone else said they saw it performed two other times during the day.

It is really cute though!!

Even if it was staged (which I'm sure it was, although the girl is a pretty good actress!), it's still sweet.

A part of me feels that Disney wouldn't really allow this to go on if it was just a normal guy proposing-- he's blocking Main Street!!
