OMG that is just an impossible shot! I whiz by that scene so fast that I hardly have time to see it, let alone have the time to point a camera.
How did you manage to get that photo???? Did the ride stop?
I'm Amazed!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Magicial :wizard:

I didn't even think that was possible. Please tell me that the ride stopped! ;)

Thank you all! No the ride did not stop :rotfl2: as a matter of a fact I had a DD9 in my lap while taking this. This was my first attempt at shooting on Matterhorn. I am always stuck with my DD in front of me but his time I thought that I would give it a try. I knew that I was not at maximum speed when we went by this but we were going pretty fast. I anticipated that if I was going to get the shot that I would have to have some speed. I set the camera in shutter priority (1/125sec) with sig 30 on, auto-ISO and hi-burst. Out of 5 frames this one actually came out. I could have gone a little faster since the ISO bumped down to about 800 for the shot. My biggest problem was protecting the camera for the rest of the ride :rotfl2: Now that all of you know that this is doable just remember that I was the first.

GoofyontheHiSeas, You are da man! :worship: It's unreal that you were able to capture this shot on your first try! :worship: I hear you about protecting the camera on that ride afterwards though, it's a bumpy ride!

Have any of you ever seen the ghosts flying around HM at night? At first I thought it was lens flare, but all my shots in the area came out with these ghosts in various spots on the photos. There were a couple in Frontierland that had ghosts in them too. This was the first time I ever saw this or was able to capture it in a photo...I was wondering if it's new for the HM anniversary...

I'm not referring to the people ghosting in the photo, I mean the geen ghosts above HM...

Absolutely amazing! :thumbsup2

Very cool!! I will be sure to look for more pics from you and I will be sure to look for this scene when we are there in a couple weeks. :)

If I remember right, someone in one of the Disneyland Secrets threads posted about this, but I have never seen it until now. :confused3
