I know that you sent me a PM on why so many came out blurry but I thought I would answer it here to maybe help others. P&S cameras are very good at taking pictures in the daytime but when it gets dark you will have to do some things to take shots. Why can I take this picture and your camera can't? My camera has a bigger sensor (the thingy that the light hits and records as picture) than your P&S. Think of it as a hole in a piece of paper, bigger the hole the more light it lets in. For your picture to come out the shutter has to stay open longer to let in enough light to capture the image. When that happens any movement will cause blur. Does this mean that you can't take night shots with a P&S? Not at all

You can take some great shots with your P&S especially at DL since there is usually some light in what you want to shoot. How to get them. Since your camera is going to have a very slow shutter speed (the time the hole in your camera has to stay open) we have to stabilize the camera. This means that you will not be able to hold it in your hands. The best option is to get a tripod but I can't see you lugging one of those around the park. So start looking for Trash cans, ledges, walls, anything that you can set your camera on which are numerous around the park. I would then use coins, credit cards, fastpasses to prop up the front end of the camera to aim it at what you want to take a picture of. Another option that have in my bag all the time is a
Gorillapod which is a very small lightweight tripod for P&S's. OK, we have the camera stable, are we done? Nope, not yet. The next trick is turn on your timer. All cameras have them. The fact that when you go to push the button to take a picture you will jiggle the camera enough to blur the picture. So after you get your shot framed & focused (push half-way down on the picture button) press the button and back away. Your camera will take the shot all by itself. One other thing is if your camera is equipped with a "Night Scenes" mode, this is what you would want to take with it. Give it a try and let me know how it works.
Here is one that I took off of a trash can with an old P&S.
