Disneyland Pet Peeves!

Those that smoke in the non designated smoking areas like walking down Main Street.

This usually happens after the fireworks when we're all just a little too close for comfort, trying to make our way to the exit.

yeha i dont get that either.. like you can't wait two seconds more to find the designated smoking area?? seriously..it's in the freakin maps people!! let alone it's causing kids to get second hand smoke lung cancer!!!!!!!

Having to see I-5 right outside of the park. They should burry it.

I've got to think of it the other way around. I can see the Matterhorn and TOT from I-5.:goodvibes

So is that good to get a little taste of DL or a tease?

I do like that it is in ""I love LA" by Randy Newman.

Pet Peeve..... All those people saying why do they to go first. FP, it's explained on the park maps, try using it.

I rather like the I-5, as once I cross the border, it eventually takes me to DL. No 100 yards hairpin turn, 100 yards hairpin turn etc for miles and miles. I don't like the Grapevine, but DH has offered to drive it next time we go, as last time just before the first big hill, the Santa Anna winds kicked up and ended up dodging UFO's, and all lost all momentum going up it. My pet peeve is with TDA not releasing their entertainment schedules and park hours more than on average 5 weeks out. It makes it hard to make any reservations, and makes it hard to make plans when the hours are not out yet (my current frustration).

I have to clarify. I don't dislike I-5. But I would like it burried so it isn't seen from DL. I'm sure some Hojo visiters would agree.

It would be tough. I've only heard of the Mormon church getting away with something like this.

Nooo!!!! Heading south on the I-5 I know to turn right at the Matterhorn. If they burried it I'd cause an accident from rubber necking looking for the summit.

Alright how about the burry each lane except one for Northbound and Southbound Matterhorn viewing? Sound like an acceptable comprimise?

You know what really burns my toast? Doublewide Umbrella Strollers. Can you be a bigger road block?

You know what really grinds my gears.....People that loose thier group and are calling them on cell from 10 feet away.

I don't I5 at all, how exactly should they bury it? lol

We don't call, we send texts, they are less obtrusive to others and just as easy for us. :) We are big texters, DD14 can text over 10,000 messages a month....yes, by herself. LOL

right now, my biggest disney pet peeve is that I'm NOT THERE right now......LOL Really, I'd be so happy to get back there that I might even put up with strollers, line cutters, stinky people, flash photos and long lines.....OK maybe not but it's really close. LOL

Well many ways, they could submerge it, I saw this in a lot of the area that predate freeways in Detroit. They left the surface street and railroads flat. But made a trench under everything that the freeways are in. I think I15 does that in SD somewhere on a newere strech.

Now.....

You know what really flattens my tires - When people hold thier camera up for a whole show right in front of me, the viewer right behind them.

Okay I am a HUGE fan of pet peeves sooo I'll tellyou mine.

1. People who use wheelchairs because they are to lazy. (I have extremely weak knees and we had gone to get a wheelchair but they were sold out of both parks. So I had to sit down constantly or be carried around. Dbf is wonderful. :lovestruc anywhoo. Later that night at a parade i see a woman GET UP AND WALK OUT OF HER WHEELCHAIR buy her son a glowing light WALK BACK and SIT BACK IN THE WHEEL CHAIR. come on.)

2. People who just STOP and talk in the way. HELLOOO GET A CLUE!

3. I know it was already mentioned but screamers.....yes they annoy me too.

4. Some. Not all. But some people in motorized wheelchairs.....push their way thru. I have been run over at least four times in the parks. No appology at all.

5. Heres the best one and I have a story with it too. My mom and I and a friend of mine (we were there for a cheer competition) got into the left lane of pirates of the carribean. You know how it splits off right at the front into too lanes. Well a lady walks extremely fast in the right lane....sees that its longer and hops over the rope in front of me and all the people behind me and continues on her way. I looked at my mom and we both decided since it was only one lady who really cares. Well until she calls up her family and brings her WHOLE FAMILY REUNION with her. At least 15-20 people and cuts us. Well i had it. I nicely confronted her and said mam you just cut us and she said no I didnt and i said yes you did and she was like look here no I didnt. I've never been one to say any cuss words but one or two came out of my mouth at her and she got in my face and called me the worst words ive ever heard. So my mom got out of line. Told the CM and he put us on a boat BEFORE her. HAHA! :lmao::woohoo::rotfl::rotfl2: Meanwhile she was screaming nasty words at me while we loaded. Moral of the story....my pet peeve....LINE JUMPERS!

Enough ranting. I think im done now.

You know what really crumbles my crackers........People standing in front of people at parades or shows. Down in Front!:headache:

I don't recall I5 doing that but it's been many years since I've been to San Diego so maybe it does......but I don't see this happening, especially with the budget crisis out dumb state is having...... :)

The camera thing bugs me too......lol

Sorry it's not very clear as I15. I was talking about I-15 the Escondido Freeway, it's like this somewhere were it comes in close to Downtown. Also I started to think that in a sense 163 crosses Balboa park like this too. Just in more of a natural valley than a concrete walled trench.

But you know what really snags my hoes......When crowd control sets up freeways on the sidewalk before a show and someone suddenly stops to take a picture.

You know what really wrinkles my wardrobe........ Whend people are walking into crowds moving the oppsite way and don't go to the right side.

You know what really wilts my lettuce......When people are running or yelling in the hotel hallways. It doesn't matter what time or day it is. It's not a secret that so many people take a miday break from the park for naps.

:goodvibes YES finally someone that feels the same about snotty nosed kids running amock in disneyland!!!!!!! :cutie:   :worship: :worship: its all the parents fault and then when they run into you its YOUR FAULT not theres!!

Amen! What really bugs me is not necessarily when a child is acting out-of-line crazy/rude etc ... but when the parent/guardian is standing RIGHT THERE and does NOTHING.
