Disneyland park must go to ride?

I totally forgot about Star Tours! We haven't been since they re-vamped it. Should I plan around this, is it super busy still?

As of this weekend the lines usually seemed to be somewhat long (30-45 minute waits generally) but you could still get FPs as late as 10:30 in the evening. After riding it several times on my last trip, I ultimately ended up skipping it on my most recent trip.

We rode it 6 times on our last trip and we had the same "experience" 3 times. I thought it would be more random than it was. It was still one of our top rides this trip though! Highly recommended!

I've heard that it can cause motion sickness & can be a bit "rough". How does the actual ride/movement compare to the old Star Tours? I had no problems with the old one, so I'm hoping its more along this line....

I'm excited to give it a try and it's good to know that I can utilize FP even late in the day.:thumbsup2

In terms of intensity, it compares to the old version. I think Indiana Jones is way more intense.

This is a relative thing though. I never get motion sickness, but my wife does. She didn't have any issues with this ride but she got a little queasy after Indiana Jones.

I think it will depend on which version of the experience you get. Some scenes are rougher than others.

I didn't like the old ST. I LOVE the new ST. They did an awesome job with the 3D and I don't like the latest 3D trend. The motion is more intense as well but as PP said, not quite Indiana. I get occassional motion sickness if I'm the passenger in the car and looking at my phone or a book etc, but I didn't have a problem on ST.

Depending on if you rode it in 2005 or not, ride Space Mountain! The remodel is pretty cool!:cool1:

The last time we went to disneyland was in 2005. Many things have changed and i cant wait to go. But what do we hit 1st?

So I know that at DCA the 1st ride or fass pass is going to be cars ( anything in cars land)
So what about Disneyland? Is fantasyland still the place to hit 1st thing?
Or hit the big MT.s 1st. Space, splash,Thunder,& matahorn?

Or maybe something new has come along..:confused3

Let me know what I should FP and what I should just ride 1st thing..
