No dining opened for the evening of Feb 8th at Disneyland... Feb 9th is open as well as 8th at CA and DD. Thoughts? Just the sporadic nature of reservations opening or something weird? Sweethearts is that night but shouldn't be until 9 or so...

Also Trader Sam's, anybody know if its being refurbed? I've got alerts but it doesn't seem to have opened for days

Last year, Sweethearts Nite began at 6 pm.
Yes, looks like mix in starts at 6pm and the official party (with everyone else getting kicked out) at 9pm. From the DLR website:

Event Details

Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite
Location: Disneyland Park
Dates: Jan 23, 25, 30; Feb 1, 6, 8, 12, 14, 2024
Time: 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM
Ticket Price: Starting at $139 per Guest (ages 3+)
The ticket to this event also includes admission to Disneyland Park as early as 6:00 PM—that’s 3 hours before the party begins—on the valid date of your ticket. Guests with a ticket to this event do not need to make a theme park reservation to enter Disneyland Park at 6:00 PM or later.

Update, looks like there are no evening reservations for any sit down in Disneyland (available in CA and DD and hotels) for the evenings that Sweethearts Nights are happening. I believe Disneyland will be open until at least 8pm for regular guests - any experiences from last year being a regular guest on the evening of Sweethearts nights, do they just not have reservations available for dinner??

The restaurants that have sit down dinner usually do something special on Sweetheart’s Nite so they typically don’t release dinner reservations until later (even for non party hours).

You can go to the restaurant page and see what time they close. For example, on party nights Blue Bayou closes at 7pm and Carnation Cafe closes at 6pm. *In previous years I remember the ones that did have dinner service the reservations went quickly or didn’t open at all for regular dinner hours.

Thank you this makes way more sense now!
