I have no idea why the point charts for DLP take so long to be issued, but it seems to have always been the case. And there will probably be yet another increase.
I'm also fairly certain that you won't be able to book for next November - not until the charts are out. You could always ring or email MS to check. Mind you I don't know how far in advance you can even do a cash booking directly with DLP at the moment - I'm not sure if the Summer 05 brochure is out yet, let alone the Winter 05 one?
I want to book for DLP in September 2005 and have been told by member services that this is not possible until the points chart is released. They do not seem to know when this will be as they have to wait for DLP to release it to them but thought it may be early January.
I have been told by other Dis'ers that once the rates are issued and you can book on the DLP website then member services shoudl have the points chart.
In my view, DLP already represent very poor value for our DVC points. We have been a few times, and each year the point cost jumps - to the point where it is just not a good deal. Goodness knows what the point requirement will be for the end of 2005!
I would seriously consider enquiring about a cash reservation, and keep your DVC points for Florida.
