I would appreciate some help in figuring out how to make a resort only reservation, or to at least modify the number of tickets with a resort reservation. It appears that right now the only way to make a resort only reservation is by international phone call. Is there not an online chat option? I've gone through all the prompts and it just loops back around.

We plan on purchasing the US military discount tickets for Disneyland, which comes in a qty of two days only, which is perfect for us.
However, we would consider booking a resort & ticket package if someone could tell me how to modify the ticket qty.
The hotel nights and ticket qty seems to be very set, and I cannot figure out how to adjust it.

If I had some framework of what the nightly rates are at the resort, then I would know if it was even worth calling vs booking a package online.

We will be staying 4 nights, and it will only allow us a qty of 5 park days.

Lastly- Can you add on the dining plans with a resort only reservation?

Rather than repeat ourselves, I will copy and paste from @Karin1984 's excellent DLP First Timer Tips.

I cannot book room only / I want to book less park days than a package deal
True. This is not possible on the Disneyland Paris website.
They only sell packages with hotel & park tickets combined. You can book a room only via platforms like hotels.com, booking.com etc. but it is possible this is not going to be a huge money saver. The package deals can include discounts or meal plans. Do the math.

You have to remember that DLP is catering to a mainly European audience who are likely to get there early on their first day and leave late on their last day, so having 5 days worth of tickets on a 4 night stay makes a lot of sense. They're also less likely to want to go into Paris as they'll probably already have done a city break there separately at some point in the past (or are planning one for the future).

You might get lucky, but most of the time if you try to book a DLP hotel only, then fewer days of tickets separately, it ends up costing more than the package.

The US Military tickets are half the public rate, so I think it's worth looking into for the resort only reservation.
I wonder why they are so secretive for the resort pricing though?

Its not that they are secretive, its the fact that 90% of people do a hotel and park ticket package with the tickets for arrival and departure day. The majority of annual pass people are day visitors, so its a very small % of people, mainly Americans, who want things how they are are in the American Parks.

I would say that 95% or higher of park visitors are within a 3 hour travel time to Disneyland Paris. I can get the first flight from Ireland in the morning and be on Main Street for about 12pm, Ive timed it on previous visits.

There is literally no point in them spending money advertising something that so few people want or need. And those that do want it will make it their business to contact Disneyland Paris anyway.

If you don't want to buy their packages, there are several very lovely hotels in Chessy/Val d'Europe that aren't run by Disney but have free park shuttles. We stayed at Hotel Elysee Val d'Europe and they had a terrific breakfast buffet, a free shuttle to the parks, and were across the street from a RER station (to go into Paris or to get to the parks if you want to skip the shuttle) and from a mall with a nice grocery store. DLP doesn't get the same crowds as the US parks, and the early entry to the parks doesn't really make a difference.

For what its worth, I was able to call Disney World and ask to be transferred to Disney Paris, just be sure to check their operating hours.
For comparison, the rates listed on sites like Hotels. com and the such were on par for the Disney resort rates directly through Disney Paris.
The tickets/nights at the resort ratio are fixed qty, they are not adjustable.
I did inquire about the dining plans being added to resort only stay and that is available as an option, if you wish to add a dining plan to resort only stay.
