Disneyland Paris -- Not sure where to post question

I have the opportunity to visit Disneyland Paris around July 2-6, 2020. I have read the information on the UK board, but I didn't find what I needed.

I have an abundance of DVC points that I can convert for a room. How far in advance do I need to book a room? Does it depend on the hotel? Can I, should I, even try? Everything I read said DLP books room and tickets together.

Also, should I purchase tickets before I go, or can I get them at the park?

The Disneyland Paris board is the best place for advice. From what Ii gather using DVC points at DPL is considered poor value for money. Booking a package via one of the European sites should be cheaper. Currently on the UK site there is an offer of up to 20% off with free half board dining and 100 euros gift card on arrival. The package would include tickets.
