Hi there!

I am planning my first visit to Disneyland Paris for October 9-12, 2024!! I wanted to wait for a little bit after the Olympics to head to Paris, and I am so exicted for my very first interational Disney Park! I am a long time visitor or Disneyland in Cali and Disney World, so I'm trying to do all my research about Paris and when is the best time to go.

Does anyone know what the crowds for mid-October look like is Disneyland Paris? Does Halloween cause a huge impact or are there any known school holidays during that time? Is there anything else in October that I should be aware of that might impact Disneyland Paris?

Thanks in advance!!!

There is a school break at the end of October, no public holidays during your visit.
Halloween will draw in some crowds from those without kids (or little kids), but don't expect huge masses.
Visiting on weekdays is always a good plan.

So, I think you're good to go!

I went the 3rd week of October 2023 and the crowds were pretty mild. There will be some Halloween-ness but it's not extensive and it won't attract much of a crowd. Most rides were 30 min or less, and we bought a few individual lightning lanes or whatever for rides we didn't want to wait for. The Halloween decor was fun, though. We had a blast. The weather will probably be a little chilly, but not cold. We had 3 day 2 park tickets and we rode everything we wanted at both parks and several things multiple times.

Yes, last year Halloween was very minimal and also a repeat of 2022, nothing new and even a little bit scaled back.
I hope that this year it'll be something new.

Good remarks about the weather, be prepared for rain / wind / little bit cold. But in October it can all ways.

Thanks everyone for the advice! I was really looking forward to Halloween, but after a change of plans, we are now going to Disneyland Paris in mid-November (November 11- 15)!

I noticed that 11/11 is a holiday for France and the Christmas season will have started by then, but does November draw the crowds? What is the weather in November like?

Thanks in advance again!!

When i've gone in Nov it was very cold but dry so that was a bonus.

We went very early December and there was a very cold spell. It kept the crowds away, though. Take a warm coat, gloves and hat and you’ll be good.
