Does anyone know how the fastpass given to guests at the Hotel New York at Disneyland Paris is different to a fastpass obtained in the parks?

Does anyone know how the fastpass given to guests at the Hotel New York at Disneyland Paris is different to a fastpass obtained in the parks?

Last year when I was there we were each iven three fastpasses you can use these at any time on any fastpass ride, note some rides however didnt open the fastpass entrant to later maybe 10.30am but when fastpass is open you can use it, it was very good, but use it wisley, if there is a small quue save it.
