Great news Lizzy. I think it will be the 15th June weekend. Not much more has been said re: dates or accomodation. I dont know what people are going to do whether book independantly or not.

My discount for June only covers Davey Croquett. I still dont know whether we will be booking at Davey or camp yet. Bruce keeps suggesting camping, due to us going to FL in Sept hopefully.

What does everyone else want to do. Book independantly or for us to try and organise a group rate?

Got a quote back from Eurostar this morning They have quoted £80 return for adults, waterloo to DLP, and £42 for children. I am happy to take charge for a group rate for this if there is enough demand for Eurostar. Otherwise its probably easier for me to fly from Luton on Easyjet. Let me know,

Great Euro star prices. We are driving down using Speed Ferries as soon as they upload thier ferry times we will book. I am pretty sure we will be camping I tried and I tried not to go camping this time. As soon as Bruce said well would you prefer DLP and no Florida or camp at DLP and then go to Florida. It will be costing us £115 for 3 nights all in all I think.

Hi, as we live less than 10 minutes from Manchester Airport it will be a lot easier for us to fly, as we won't have to spend more money on trains and hotels in london, and dd want have to miss more days of school as we would have to travel the day befor and after.
I am looking to book the holiday Inn, if I can get a good price.

Eurostar would be a bit tricky for us in the north west so i'd prefer to fly =] As far as hotels it'll probably be either The Holiday Inn or The Cheyenne (if they do the free night and day offer then and it beats the offsite price)

We are going a bit earlier in June - 1st week and got a good deal on the Marriot of 155€ per night. The townhouses there sleep 6. Thought I'd post it in case it could be an option for people . The site is www.marriot.com

I dont think we be able to go now We have booked a holiday to WDW for Sept for our perhaps last holiday for 2-3 years. We are also going to NYC in March. I will be starting my training and going to university in Feb 08. I will be taking a pay cut from then on for three years. At the moment I dont think we will be able to go away until I finished my training. Our September holiday to WDW and NYC is our priority at the moment.

If we are able to come we will certainly join you in the meet. Its such a shame as we would love to of used our annual passes again. I think for us it will be literally a last minute decision for us, if we came.

Hi to everyone I don't know (and to everyone I do)
Just stumbled across from the DLP forum (since I try to avoid coming here as Disney in America is still a distant distant dream until I can drive!) and came across this meet. Spookily, We've just booked our holidays for June and will be at disney on that weekend (15th-17th) - it's obviously meant for me to be there - if I'm allowed ?!?

I should still be going round then too. The trip is sort of a treat for my sister for completing a year of college (she's had some problems so it's a real achievement for her) and her 18th birthday is 13th June so it'll be a sort of joint celebration Hoping that maybe my parents can chip in for us to stay in the Disneyland Hotel

Hi everybody
I have been stuck with the disney blues for the last 10 days as I know I can't afford to go back to WDW for a really long time However I have decided to now focus all my attention on this DIS meet. Yes, I am definately in and am more than happy to co-ordinate some goings on while we are all in Paris

Date seems to be set for 15th to 17th June, and that we are all making our own way there. What i propose is that we should all book hotels/ transport independantly of each other and then tie up for a few events when we are there. there are tons of possibilities, from the tea party, dinner at Cafe Mickeys, a dinner show, a special place to enjoy the parade together....I'm sure you've all got some great ideas of your own.

I won't be booking quite yet as I need to sort finances a little after Florida but if you post when you have booked, where you are staying, and any ideas you may have, and I'll find a way to weave it all together.

To those that can't make it this time, and especially to you Michelle , I really hope another London meet goes ahead and I look forward to meeting some more of you soon, you will be missed!
