I haven't been to Disneyland and I'm perfectly content going to Walt Disnet World.
I think WDW is a better resort than DLR and that is exactly what Walt Disney aimed it to be. He actually wanted to create WDW to improve on DLR. He wanted it bigger and without the distractions of highway noise. I think they did a very good job at creating exactly what Walt Disney wanted.
WDW is evidently larger than DLR as it was proven that all of DLR can fit into the Kilimanjaro Safari at Disney's animal Kingdom. Now, that is one attraction in all of WDW. However, size isn't something I pick on...I just thought I'd mention that little tidbit as we are on discussion comparing the two resorts.
I love that WDW offers the Animal Kingdom, the Studios, Epcot, and all the other awesome parks that DLR doesn't have. I enjoy going to Blizzard Beach and I enjoy each theme in all of the parks.
I also love that WDW has Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, a favorite of mine. This ride is unique to WDW and it's awesome.
Now I know I haven't been to DLR so I can't give opinion on that park. I do know that I love WDW and I'm perfectly content going there. I don't really have a burning desire to visit DLR and if I did, it would be to see the first of the Disney parks.
