Disneyland Online Fastpass?

i recall reading that Disneyland was starting online reservations for Fastpass (like disneyworld). Is this true?? Read it was coming summer of 2015. Thanks!

As LizzyS said, nothing more than a rumor now. Certainly not in practice at all, nor has a start date (or even actual start time) been officially announced as far as I have seen.

We were just there and there was no sign that the legacy FP was going anywhere. I personally hope they keep the legacy FP!

I'm looking forward to using the Legacy fastpass system again!!
This is my 1st trip to DL in Sept.
I like the convenience of the FP +...
BUT the legacy system makes it easier to get FP's all day long.

At WDW you get to choose 3 per day online, ahead of time.
Once in the parks after you use those first 3 each day you go to the FP kiosks to get another FP.
You have to keep going back to the kiosks to get more FP's. Lines are usually long.
I have found it's better to schedule your first 3 for the morning,
so you can continually get more FP's all day long once those 3 are gone.

Don't get me wrong it's nice to schedule 3 ahead of time especially for popular rides / character meets with long waits.
