Hi Everyone!

This is my first post here- but this looks like a fun place to be!

On Christmas Day, we are packing up the kids, my Mom & Dad, little sisters, and Grandma, and driving out to Anaheim (we're in Vegas). Anyways- are the crowds really that bad at Christmas? We (my husband and I) were at WDW for spring break this year and we really didn't find it that PACKED- but maybe that's because we were without the kiddos and everything is easier when you aren't trying to coordinate with kids :)

Anyways, I'm just curious- is the park all that bad at Christmas? We'll be there from the 25th-29th. I can't wait :)

TIA!

I guess we'll both find out. I've never been there during Christmas either. Crowds or not, it should be a lot of fun! See you there! BTW, welcome to the DIS!

Looks like we'll all be at DL at the same time! (12/25-12/29 here) .. So if you see a tall red-head dragging around a tall brooding guy, that's me!

From what I have heard, it is going to mad-packed! The week after X-Mas is the busiest week of the year, however the forecasted rain might weed out the locals. Be sure to use your fastpasses to your advantage and try to eat during irregular times.

Christmas Day should also be busy, but you'd think the morning would be less crowded because that is when families are doing their gift exchange, etc. (Fingers Crossed)

Anyhew, hope you all have a blast! Crowds or not, their is nothing like spending your holidays at Disneyland! :wizard:

Well, regardless of crowds or not- we always have fun at DL :cool1: , so I guess we'll just have to see how crowded it is!

Merry Christmas, everyone!!!

Hey:

Just got back from DL.
Although it was crowded, we still had a blast! The lines looked really long, but they weren't too bad. We arrived around 9:30 and hit all of FantasyLand by noon! The next day, we arrived at 8, and hit Indy, HM, Splash, MH, and PoC in 2 hours (didn't use FP), can't beat that!

Merry Christmas all!

Glad to hear that you had a great time and it looks like you got to go on a lot of rides. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case for us. My kids are still sad that they couldn't go on the rides they wanted to. It's ok though. My DW and I decided to take them back again for my DS's birthday in March.

Sorry to hear that your kids didn't get to ride all they wanted to. I suppose our luck was that it was just the two of us, and it was pretty much find your way to the ride and hopefully find each other at the meeting point!

March should be much better though, and we found the trick was to plan while waiting in line and make a beeline to the ride of our choice. It's always harder with little ones though!

We had 3 1/2 days at the park- including Christmas day. We managed to hit everything we wanted to- which was nice! The weather was decent too- until the last day when the sky cracked open! My only problem was- I wasn't too impressed with the cast members' handling of people in wheelchairs. MY Grandma (so my kids' Great Grandma) was with us and the cast members weren't too informative on what to do on/for each ride.

All in all- we had a lot of fun! WON'T go back on Christmas day- but it was definitely a memory :)
