Disneyland Oct 2024 - What are my options

Hi everyone
I’m looking to book a week at Disneyland for a week in October 2024. Not picky about which week. I have extra DVC points to use from my beach club and grand floridian contracts and don’t own at either Disneyland resorts. I would be looking for a 2 bedroom unit and 1 studio (not picky on which view). I’m also open to either DVC property. What are my options? My fear is that I wait until the 7 month mark and nothing is available, but I also don’t want to buy a Disneyland contract or pay the cash price (the 2 bedroom units appear to be around $15k for a week, ouch!). I’m open to renting 11 months out but how easy is it to rent Disneyland points? Does anyone have experience booking this time of year at the 7 month window? Any tips or strategies would be greatly appreciated

There are several reputable rental companies and plenty of individuals renting points. Yeah at 7 months the 20 2-bedroom units may be hard to get.

VDH also requires the almost $3 a point tax to be paid at check in. For a week long stay in a 2 bedroom that will be quite a lot! For that reason alone, I’d try to find an owner to rent VGC from.
