We are thinking about planning a trip to DL in November 2007 we are thinking the week either before/of/or after Thanksgiving. Any ideas on how the crowds are, what hotel to stay at, dining ideas??? We are planning to do Lego land and Sea world also. The idea is to do atleast 3 days in DL and 1 day at Legoland and 1 day at Sea World. We are flying from MD so we do not expect to do much on travel days. We think we want to stay onsite at one of the Disney hotels. Any ideas are more than welcome thank you

Well, Legoland is about 1 hour from Disneyland and Seaworld is about 2 hours away from Disneyland. I think it be easier if you leave Disneyland early in the morning, hit Legoland, then drive down to Seaworld and stay at a hotel there.

Disneyland has WAAAAY too many hotels... ppl will tell your a lot of hotels :)

We were at Disney sunday monday before Thanksgiving, and it was nice. But I hear the week before and the week after are much less crowded. Weather was very nice.

We were there the week before thanksgiving and there were no crowds. On the weekend however the crowds did pick up. The thanksgiving weekend I heard was swamped and they had to stop letting ppl into the park. Also the week right after thanksgiving is also empty. I would stay at GCH at disneyland or the Howard Johnson. GCH is right on site in california adventure park so the walk is short. Howard Johnson is across the street but a great place to stay and good prices.

I was there Thanksgiving week this year (Mon - Thurs). the longest line we stood in was about 30 min. for Autopia.

Our friends were there with us, but they stayed through Sunday. They said Friday and Saturday after T-day, it was EMPTY! Even cast members were commenting on how low the crowd was. They were able to walk right onto ride after ride. I was shocked to hear that! I thought for sure those would be busy days. Sunday was more busy than Fri & Sat.

Maybe people heard how busy it usually is and they all stayed home! :goodvibes

We had Thanksgiving lunch at the Blue Bayou and it was absolutely WONDERFUL! They even had a traditional T-day meal on the menu that day, even though the Reservation people told me they wouldn't be. BB said they always do every year. The nice part about that was we didn't have to take time to leave the park to have our meal. We were able to stay and walk onto the rides while everyone else did. :goodvibes

Thats almost what our plan was. Except we did 5 days at DL, 1 day at Legoland, and the plan was 1 day at Seaworld. Unfortunately, we were so exauhsted that we skipped seaworld. If its warm outside, make sure that you bring a towel and swim clothes to Legoland. My kids spent half the day at the waterpark there, it was great!

I was there the week after Thanksgiving (Tues-Sat). Tues-Thurs there were no crowds. Walked on everything. Friday was not too bad either, but Saturday was quite crowded. The Candlelight Processional was on that night and the weather was gorgeous so I am sure that did not help. But I really thought it was a great time to go and would recommend it.
