Looking for your favourite videos, etc. on Disneyland bootcamp/tips/tricks for newbies.

Of course I come here first but supplementals from other areas are good for a well rounded picture.

And, since you made it this far into my thread, please feel free to share your favourite tip/trick/dining option/photo op/offisite hotel, etc.

Thanks in advance.

There's tons of useful sticky threads on this message board. https://www.disboards.com/threads/d...logs-and-vlogs-aussie-planning-links.3784394/ If you want something printed that's a good overview, this guidebook is fantastic. The Unofficial Guide to Disneyland Parts of it may go out of date between when it was printed and when your trip happens. Disneyland does not take a ton of planning. Before your trip figure out which attractions/rides/shows you want to see and where you want to eat. Consider starting each day with a rough idea of what you want to see and do. You do not have to create or keep to a rigid schedule.

Download the app and set up your Disney account. Get used to the app before you leave.

Favorite photo ops are personal and are largely going to be determined by what you like/love. What movies, franchises, characters do you love? I can recommend some photo ops beyond the castle with the partners statue (it's iconic/a classic) if I know what you like.

Thank you for the info!

I know favourites are personal opinion. I enjoy reading snippets about other peoples favourites, which is why I asked. :thumbsup2

This may not apply to everyone and it’s also outdated, but I have a book called “Disneyland with Disablities”, and loved it. Gave fantastic advice on best airlines to take, packing lists, and how the rides load. I will save it forever. Most of what I have learned I have learned from this board. Get the books though, all fun!

HoJo's is one of the best offsite, as you probably already know. So kid friendly and close. Saves so much time with walking vs waiting for trams & transportation.

I love this Disney food website as they have so many great meal/snack reviews: https://www.disneyfoodblog.com
This gal is one of my favorite Disney bloggers. Lot's of great tips and family friendly ideas: https://www.instagram.com/disneyhungry/
