Disneyland - My Day at Disneyland Hong Kong!!!

Excellent report Craig! I've wanted to know more about HK Disney and now I feel I do!

Also, if you don't have a blog, you should. I'd read that!

Really Great Read! My BIL BF is in charge of the Pass/ticket machines. He was over there for a while to make sure ALL passes (old and new) would work. He does something with computers and he has worked there for quite a while. He offered my SIL/BIL and the kids to come for the grand opening, but they didn't go. Why couldn't Andy be My best friend?!?!

BTW, my husband wants to know if we would have to walk around with one of those Translators, or does everyone speak English?
I also checked out your photos, which are wonderful. Thanks again for the look!

No translator is necessary, all announcements are done in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. We didn't see the Lion King show, so I don't know about that, but the Golden Mickeys was all in Chinese, but you didn't really need to understand the language to enjoy the show. Menus and signs are all in English and Chinese, and all the staff that I met spoke English very well.

thanks for sharing your trip with us - great report. I loved your photos, especially being able to see a different parade - but that big blow up Mickey looks a little scary to me??? :scared: :earseek:
