My must-do DCA rides/attractions:
TSMM
Cali Screamin'
Soarin' over Cali
Monsters Inc.
Pixar Play Parade

Must-do DL restaurants:
Carnation Cafe (baked potato soup)
River Belle Terrace (great breakfasts)
Blue Bayou with waterside seats
Churros from the carts
People say great things about the popcorn (I haven't tried it yet)

Must-do DCA restaurants:
Wine Country Trattoria
Taste Pilot's Grill

Must-do Downtown Disney restaurants:
White Water Snacks
ESPN Zone (great chicken strips)
Napolini (loved their baked mac and cheese)

I also thought Peter Pan was better at DL and it's my fav ride so it's important to me, not everyone thinks so. Also DS swore that BTMR was faster at DL, but I couldn't tell a difference.

I actually cannot believe I didn't mention Peter Pan! It is so much better at DLR. Can't be missed, imo!

Having been to both DL and WDW with DL as my "home", my favorites/must see for differences:

Disneyland

Matterhorn
Space Mtn
Outside of It's a Small World
Toon Town
Pirates definitely!
Indiana Jones
Outside of the Haunted Mansion (same as previous poster-looks more haunted)
Stroll through the area around Club 33, Blue Bayou.
my daughter loves Cpt Jack so we go to the Island

Blue Bayou for eating
**outside Disney Bubba Gumps if there isn't one where you live

CA Adventure
Soarin
I don't do outside coasters other than space mtn so no help here

Definitely try the sourdough bread soups or salads or just the bread
If it's your birthday, let the tortilla factory know so you get a whole package

Favorite other place to eat there is Pilots Grill but may try the new chinese place when we go
