disneyland music

The music used for Main Street are instrumental versions of popular songs from the early 1900s. A couple that I know off the top of my head are "A Bicycle Built for Two" and "I Could Love A Million Girls" (which can be found with vocals on the "Ragtime" movie soundtrack which is available on iTunes). I don't know where you could get them for free, but if you know the song titles, you can poke around.

I've gotten several from iTunes by Rick Benjamin's Paragon Ragtime Orchestra. One album that has several Main Street tunes is The Whistler and His Dog. My favorite song played on Main Street is Put On Your Sunday Clothes which originates from Hello Dolly. I have searched high and low for just the instrumental version, but can only find several versions that include lyrics by many different artists. If anyone knows of where to find that, please pass it along.

I believe that Al Lutz on Miceage did a story about this and has a link to a list of what the songs are and where you can get them.

Disradio is a good source for streaming music but their library isn't as large as some other online Disney music stations.

It makes my workday a lot more tolerable if I can hear Disney music!
