I booked paradise pier..1 bedroom suite..anyone have pics or know anything about the 1 bedrooms? are they similar to the 1 bedrooms at wdw?

It was a toss up betweem paradise pier and disneyland hotel..any pros and cons?

also booked for dec 7-11th do they have holiday parties or anything similar to wdw? or what special holiday stuff can we expect?

Ok...found the suite pics at all ears...if anyone has others they want to share great!!

Looking at those pics..looks like the pier has continental breakfast..is that free there?

At PP free breakfast is only if you are staying Concierge. I have heard lots of good things about the Lilo and Stitch character breakfast there but haven't gone myself.

I have pics of a standard room - concierge level but not a one bedroom.

Concierge at PP can be added to a suite for $100 per night + $15 tax. It includes a continental breakfast and light snacks/beer-wine in the evening.

To compare prices, there is also a coffee bar in the lobby and we found that a roll, fruit and latte there averaged about $15 for 2 of us.

I think at least half the suites do not have Theme Park views. Make sure you request one (if it not a special booking category). The view is amazing.

From MiceAge: "In December, the Candlelight Processional is scheduled to be performed on December 6th and 7th. This causes Parades at Disneyland to be performed earlier than normal, and some impact on the Disneyland Railroad.

Monday, December 8th and Tuesday, December 9th has Disneyland closing at 6 PM to allow for Cast Member Holiday Parties. Disney will still offer the Christmas fireworks, but at 5:45 PM, which is after sunset that time of year. DCA will remain open until 9 PM on those two nights to allow guests a chance to get a full day at the Resort."

The CP is staged in front of (and on top of) the Train Station and amazing, but getting reservations for the seating is a pain. For 2009, we gave up and are heading to WDW!

Have a great trip -- Suzanne
