Just found out that we're going to Disneyland next weekend! We tried to buy the military tickets at our local base and they only have tickets to Disney World. Can we buy the discounted tickets at the main gate at Disneyland?

Recent posts on these boards have stated that people have, in fact, been able to buy them at the ticket booths even though the website states otherwise. I haven't confirmed that myself, but I can't imagine the few people posting that they have done it have any motivation to lie :) You can always call and confirm just for peace of mind.

Thanks! I'm going to give them a call later today to be sure. We've tried every base within 100 miles of us and it's a no go on all of them.

Do you already have a hotel? Quite a few of the hotels on Harbor offer military discounts, so be sure to ask!

Yeah, DH's company paid for the hotel already. We're staying at the Portofino Inn & Suites.

Beale AFB has them! Travis AFB should as well. On top of that, any base should be able to have them sent to you. When I went into Beale to get info on WDW tickets, they said they would have to order and have mailed to me tickets other than the promotional 4-day ones. Anyways, they do sell them at the ticket booths, but you will pay tax which you avoid when purchasing on base.

Travis DOES have them

We're just going to have to buy them at the gate and pay tax because we don't have time to go to Travis or Beale. We fly in Friday and leave Sunday night so we're already crunched for time. I'm not planning on sleeping much at all that weekend!
