Disneyland March Crowds- $50 Kid Ticket Deal

Trying to decide if we should go to Disneyland before or after our Mexican Cruise out of Long Beach March 20-25. If we go before we can take advantage of the $50 kid ticket deal, however hotels are double the cost (likely due to higher crowds). If we go after the cruise we have to buy full price Disney tickets, but since hotels are cheaper the total cost is actually less. I am also thinking crowds might be lighter this week since the deal is over? We are just going to do one day Disneyland.

However I also see Orange County schools are out for Spring Break the week of March 24. So maybe parks will be just as busy, as locals won't need to rent hotel rooms and they have the SoCal rate all month.

I was looking between those two weeks, and noticed the hotel I was looking at was nearly perfectly offset by the ticket price difference! Probably varies by hotel. But all in all, it's impossible to predict if you'll choose the one super duper busy day or one of the less busy busy days, so just go with whatever works best.

It's gonna be busy no matter what, pick whichever you prefer.
