I am a licensed private investigator near Anaheim, California. I have been attempting to locate an old girlfriend of a client. We only have one more lead. They signed in at the guest registry on Main St, in one of those big red leather bound books.

Problem is, that was back in 1987. Any idea where the books might be archived from 23 years ago? I realize this is a long shot. But, if I can at least locate them, my client might be able to look through them for his note. That is... if they are even open to the public.

Thanks, John

I have no idea, but probably stored in some archive that I doubt would be open to the public.

I figured they would be private. City Hall had no idea where to find guest books that old. Thank you for the responses.

I'm a little confused, the guest registry at City Hall, does it include personal information such as addresses? Because I'm not sure how else it would help you to find this person....

I very highly doubt that Disney will provide private information regarding one guest to another.

The reality is no one truly knows why your client wants to find this female who is (in theory) from his past.

I would hope with everything in me that Disney would not release any personal information of mine that they may have from guest registries I've signed through the years.

I was trying to figure that out too. OP said "my client might be able to look through them for his note"...the client and the girlfriend were there together, so it's confusing why the client wants to see it...

I dunno, I think that if I had hidden my tracks well enough that an internet search couldn't find me at all (used to think I was invisible until someone on the CB showed a site where you can see all, for free even), I would be either dead or I really REALLY did not want to be found! That's just me, though. :)

And if the client and the girlfriend were together, then wouldn't the client know the old address?? Or at least a concept of the address? I don't remember all of DH's old addresses from 13 years ago, but I can remember at least part and still remember exactly how to get there. But that's just m...

What about just calling Disney??

The nosy girl in me wonders about the backstory here... popcorn::
