Disneyland lost and found

We lost sunglasses in the park, and we didn't find them, but they let my daughter pick a pair of New Disney sunglasses. Way better than the plain ones she lost! It was cool for her.

I'll add my happy ending story to this list - In 2012 I lost my videocamera at the very end of the day at DLR (not only that, but the extra battery, 2 memory cards and...my credit card and license, because we were at MNSSHP and I was dressed up in a costume with no pockets!). We realized it halfway back to the hotel and drove back to the park in a panic. CM's checked L&F to no avail and said maybe it'd turn up the next day.

After a nearly sleepless night of waiting and wondering (freaking out about identity theft along with the loss of about $500 in camera equipment), we went to L&F and the CM found it. I was so relieved I cried and hugged her and came back the next week to give her a thank-you card. I mean, I know it's a team effort but it meant a lot. Some honest people were involved and it meant a lot to me.

Now I'm not so careless as to leave ID, etc. in an unmarked bag like that and I put my contact info on/in valuables like cameras since I NEVER want a repeat of that situation!!!

DH dropped a credit card at DL and it was turned into lost and found. We picked it up later that same day. It's great when people are honest. We found a mans wallet by the silly symphony swings on our last trip, turned it into lost and found. I hope whoever it belonged to got it back.

Disney is great--they find your stuff when you didn't even lose it!

I checked out of Pop Century in WDW and left a pair of old sneakers next to the trash bin (bin was full). A week later here is a nice box from Florida with my shoes in it and a little note.
Now if I throw something away I make sure it goes completely in the bin!
