I'm really excited about going to this! I'm not lining up early or even going early so hopefully I'll still be able to get in. I bought the So Cal select passport specifically for the event because I know I'll make back the cost of it. I'm hoping that even if I go with my annual pass in the afternoon on Wednesday I'll still be able to get in. I'm praying the park isn't packed to capacity! I may go earlier, though..we'll see.

I'm actually going for another meetup, but I hope everyone here has a fantastic time. This seems like it's going to be a blast!

I'm definitely getting a locker and I'm bringing at least 4 diet Rockstars! :rotfl:

If the park is at capacity, who gets priority to get in once they start letting more people in?

Does staying on property (DL hotel) help our chances or does that not matter?

My husband and I are getting pretty excited for this!! We weren't planning on getting there until the afternoon so I really hope capacity is not a problem. I'm thinking a lot of people with little ones might head out around that time to take an afternoon nap.

We might try to make it to the 2 am meetup as well. It should be a great time and maybe a little crazy too with all the sleep deprived and caffeinated people so I hope everyone in the park keeps it civil.

I love that Mickey in PJs will be at the Carnation Plaza Gardens. He must have known we had a Dis meet scheduled :thumbsup2

I'm so glad they've finally released what's going to be going on. I know my kids will love getting the meet the characters in their pjs cuz I'm pretty sure mine will all be in there's by midnight!! We do plan on taking an afternoon nap or else my kids won't last until the 1 am Fantasmic! and that is my 5 year old DS favorite show!! He loves the dragon!!! Then it's going to be hit or miss if we last until 6 am. I better bring an umbrella stroller for my 5 year old cuz there is no way he'll be able to sleep in our double since his younger sister and brother will already be in the seats. Can't wait to meet up with everyone and put faces with names!! Now need to remember to go to Home Depot tomorrow after dropping the kids off at school to get the mickey heads!! We're leaving to drive down after the kids get off of school at 11:30 am. Can't wait!!!

After multiple 12 hours days that we are making back to the hotel moaning and groaning I am worried about how we are going to do this!LOL! I think the most we have done is 16 hours in the park.

AHHHH!

24 hours! Are we crazy?!?!

leaving tonight after work :thumbsup2 I'm planning to get to DL right around 6 or 7 in the morning. I'll spend a few hours until DCA opens and then hop over there for the day.

I can't wait to get a Mickey pretzel and to ride Pirates pirate: popcorn::

My flight lands at 3pm today. then it's to DTD for some shopping and then Trader Sams for dinner before calling it a night.

I may make it to rope drop. It seems my body hasn't adjusted to living on the west coast yet. (25 years a east coaster. 1 week a west) I keep getting up between 5 and 6 am.

Any idea about when they'll start passing out wristbands tonight once we get in line at 10:00? Once we have a wristband will we be able to leave? I know that everyone has to clear the area at 4:30 and then come back through security. Our plane lands around 4:00, then we hop a shuttle, drop off luggage at the hotel, then head to Downtown Disney. WOO HOO!!!

Leap Day Logos on everything.

Clothing, accessories and food.

I’m looking forward to celebrating One More Disney Day on February 29. I plan to be in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort that morning for this unique celebration. My fellow Disney Parks Blog author Erin Glover recently told you about a special ear hat being distributed that day at Disneyland park. Disney Theme Park Merchandise has created a few additional retail items to commemorate Leap Day 2012.

I think Disney ear hats are the quintessential souvenir from Disney Parks (everyone I know has one!). I still have my mouse ears from my first visit in July 1983. We are offering special embroidery on a classic black ear hat to celebrate One More Disney Day. These embroidered hats will be offered for sale at The Chapeau, Curtain Call Collectibles, and Sir Mickey’s at Magic Kingdom Park in Florida, and at the Mad Hatter shop in Disneyland park.

Artist Jeff Granito designed a playful logo that will be used on shirts for women, men and kids. The logo will also be found on a zipper fleece jacket created only for Disneyland Resort. The nice part is that these apparel items will also be sold via the Disney Parks Online Store from February 29 through March 1. Some of you may recall that we did a similar thing for the 40th Anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort last October.

The Leap Day logo will also be found on an artisan watch that will be offered at New Century Jewelry in Disneyland park and Uptown Jewelers at Magic Kingdom Park in Florida.

Lastly (and probably my favorite), there will be delicious cupcakes, caramel apples and cake pops with the Leap Day logo being offered at both parks. You know what I will be eating on February 29.

I hope to see you there!

I bolded the part about the apparel being available through the Disney Store Online.

Just got off work about to head home rest and then be at the park at 10pm see everyone tonight/tomorrow

More Bay Area residents heading on down! Palo Alto and Mountain View to Anaheim 6.5 hours. My friend and I are driving down after work tonight. Should manage about 5 hours of sleep and then hitting the parks tomorrow. She had never been to DCA so we are starting in DLR then moving over to DCA and returning to DLR later that day/evening.
Hoping to see lots of Disers at Carnation palza throughout the day/night.

Sitting in front of the Grand Californian fireplace, listening to the piano player! Crowds were really low in DCA today. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

If anyone while there tonight and tomorrow and Thursday morning could give some live or semi live updates on this thread that would be nice. It would be nice if those on smartphones or bringing thier tablets and notebooks could created a sort of consolidated TR. Kind of like what is happening with people letting everyone know they are on thier way.
