Disneyland in November

My family will be there Nov 5-Nov12. Really looking forward to it. None of us have been there before!!

My family will be there at the end of November (27th) through December 2nd. I hear this week (the week after Thanksgiving week) is a good one to go. Anyone ever been at that time?

The crowds in Nov. aren't bad at all. Getting a spot for Fantasmic is always kind of difficult (but I don't like waiting around for hours). It should be less difficult then though as opposed to other times. I've been able to stand and see it ok but to get a "good" seat you'll have to be there atleast an hour maybe longer before.

Hello,
We are also going to be there from November 11th - November14th. We are excited because that's the first weekend of the Christmas festivities!! It looks like it may be kind of crowded that weekend. Does anyone think it will be like summertime? I hope not!
Everyone...have a great time!! :earboy2:

Hi

Where did you read about when the Christmas Festivities are? That would be wonderful!! I will be there Nov9-13, Veteran's Weekend.

Personally, while I love WDW, I think Disneyland is the absolute BEST of the Disney parks. It's the original! :teeth: Although, I could be biased since it's the one I was raised on.. ;)

I agree with you 100%, but I still love WDW (so much to do)! :teeth:

Our family (my hubby, daughter, myself, my sister and her daughter And my mother and father) are going Nov. 7-10th. It should be fun. We've never went as a big family before. Last time, I was at Disneyland, I was 17 yrs. old going with my parents and sister. I've (my hubby and daughter also) love DisneyWorld-went the last 2 years. Really looking forward to the trip.
I did see that California Screamin' was going to be closed while we're there. We love coasters!! :earsgirl:

My family is taking me to DL Oct. 29th through Nov. 6th. Wahoooo!

We'll be there Nov. 20th through the 23rd :)

Our family of 5 will be in DL from 15-20th of November :cheer2:

We are coming from Australia and it is our first time at DL, (or in the US for that matter!) :rotfl:

I just can't believe that we will really be there!!!!!!!

Yes, decorations are usually up by first weekend in November, at least the majority of them. You should also see the Haunted Mansion made over to Nightmare Before Christmas, and It's a Small World is also transformed with the song Jingle Bells.

Any idea on how crowded it will be the weekend before Thanksgiving? Will most people wait to arrive just before Thanksgiving? :scratchin

Thanks!

Going the 20th to the 23rd. Staying at Grand Californian. :cheer2:

Mary Jo, we are going Nov. 6-10 and I thought we would see the holiday decorations/small world, etc., like we did last year at the same time.

However, I got an email response from Disneyland that said the Holiday decorations and Small World would not be available until November 11. I was very disappointed and so called to confirm and they said it was true, although they may start some decorating earlier in the week. However, they said costumes and holiday food would begin on the 11th. If you find out anything different, please let us know! :)

We'll be in DL staying at the DLH from November 5-9th to celebrate our friends' 5th wedding anniversary. They were married on POTC. We have been to DL with this group of friends three previous times and we always go in November or early December. Crowds are light, weather is FANTASTIC and lines are much shorter. That and the holiday decor is just so stunning it makes me cry. I so can't wait to go!
