If this is the wrong spot, forgive me. This site is beyond overwhelming!

I just booked a trip for the last week of February 2015 and now I'm panicking! Did I choose a week where it's going to be crowded? Raining? Did I choose the right hotel?

How do I check for events that are going to be happening that week? Can anyone talk me down?

If you're set on February, the last week is probably the best.
You'll be missing both Valentine's and President's day massive crowds.

These are the things I believe will/may be happening at the end of February and first of March....

:cheer2:Plus Cheer Camp competitions :cheer2: I don't have a link to their information.

I'm booked for March 4th through 7th. I'm expecting it to be BUSY... Being tied to school schedules doesn't give any flexibility.

We will go and have a fine time!! The grandkids are already planning which rides they want to hit first. So far only my 10DGD and 12DGS are going with me. However, if it's like other times, as it gets closer the other two (20DGS and 16DGD) may decide to join use too. I say the more the merrier!

We're coming from the PacificNW, SoCal weather will be better than we are experiencing in Feb/March. So I'll be fine with whatever we get.

Which hotel will you be staying in?
We chose one on Harbor, for easy access to and from the parks.

If you can find a "zone of time" where there will NOT be crowds, please feel free to share your info with all of us. We're all looking for the slow times we remember from the past.

I say STOP panicking and start PLANNING. You're going to have a fun time and the weather is going to be GREAT!

Umm- will it be raining? Sure, maybe. If that's actually a deal breaker that would ruin your trip, seriously reconsider for a summer month. Crowded? Maybe, are you going over holidays? If so, yes. You'll have to take some time to search out the answers here & check hotel reviews and such for your specific concerns. You have plenty of time to find the answers!

However, as much as I love DL, if you're super freaked out about your trip maybe it's not right for you right now after all.

"Might" see some folks from the Old Pueblo. TUSD has Rodeo weekend
toward the end of February. :confused3

It's more just the panic that follows booking a tip. You know, the "I just paid a fortune, I hope it all works out." We are arriving on a feb 22nd (sunday) and checking out Feb 27th (Friday) are staying at the Del Sol Inn across the street. We plan to be at the park mon-thurs.

Last time we went we were there during Australia/New Zealands summer break. It was so crowded. We were also with my extended family which brought brought it's own challenges. It was my husbands and kids first time there and this is kind of our do-over trip.

"Santa" is giving us the trip so we can't wait too long to go.

oh, and we are coming from Utah, so I'm hoping that the weather in CA will be better!

Hi! We will be there 22nd Feb to 3rd March staying at Disneyland Hotel. My husband and I are coming from Sydney, Australia with our little girl who will have just turned 1. This will be our second trip and can't wait! No regrets here with the dates we've picked. From what I've read, it's the low season. Can't be worse than our first trip....we were there for New Years Eve 2008.

Don't count on it. We usually make a week-long trek to DL in mid-to-late Feb. We've seen all kinds of weather: rain, storm, hot, mild, etc. Most of the time it is a great time to go: no heavy crowds and fairly cool weather. The weather is the weather. Can't predict it nor control it, so you just have to go with it. Check the forecasts a day or two before you go and just show up prepared mentally and otherwise.

Keep in mind...if you are only in the parks Monday-Thursday your entertainment in the parks will be limited. During the slower season, there are only fireworks on weekends. I think there are still parades though.

Yes, it could rain. And it could be cooler outside.

We have been either end of January or end of February for the past several years. It is our favorite time to go. We don't mind some closures for refurbs. We also don't mind some rain. All 3 trips we've done at this time of year have included at least one rain day. In fact, last February it flat out poured on us but the parks emptied out, we poncho'd up and kept riding until the kids couldn't take it anymore. Advice, don't ride Dumbo in the rain, OWWWEEEE it stings LOL. We notice lighter crowds overall typically except one year when they decided to open the park 24 hours for leap year. That day ruined my trip plans and it was so packed you couldn't even get on rides without waiting 3 hours. At any rate, if you are booked and excited JUST GO FOR IT and be open to things not going a certain way. :)
