Disneyland hours June 24th

In case you are planning to visit DL on June 24th there are some new hours they are opened.

Mousesavers states:
Disneyland opens early (6:30 am) and closes early (5:00 pm) on 6/24/06 because of the premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, which will take place in the park after closing. There will be no guided tours, parades, Fantasmic! or fireworks that day. Tom Sawyer Island will be closed all day. Main Street will be crowded as people stake out places to watch celebrities arrive on the red carpet. Disney's California Adventure will stay open until 11:00 pm that night.

We arrive that very day for a week long vacation, staying at the GCH.

I had hoped to go to DL on our first day for a little while to sort of quench the DDs' thirst for some fun, but I think we may have to scratch that plan. I'd just rather not deal with enormous crowds on our very first day. Maybe we'll go to California Adventure for a few rides that day, then find something else to do in SoCal the rest of the day. I figure the people who would otherwise pack DL, will instead head over to CA in the afternoon, making it even more packed than it might usually be on a Saturday.
