Disneyland Hotel ???

Please bear with me. I am a seasoned visitor to WDW, but I know nothing about DL. I was trying to book a few nights at the Disneyland Hotel for August of next year. When I do that I get an error message saying something about to book it, travel has to be before Jan 05. Is that right or am I doing something wrong? I see other posts here saying they are booked for dates in 05 so Im guessing Im doing something wrong. Anyone have any insight to why I cant book? Thanks!

If you are trying to get reservations for August of next year, that would be 8/05. The reservation system is saying that your travel needs to be before that, so it only means they are taking travel info. for the year 2004. You could contact the hotel reservation system directly, and the operators would be able to help you.

So,you can book by phone, but not on line?

You can book on the phone, and what the computer is telling you is that for the stay that you are trying to book for which is on August of 2005, you can not book that with their computer system since it is to far in advance. the computer is only able to book reservations on their system till the starting of the year, not the summer.

Thanks, mommtotwo! I figured thats what the message meant but it seemed strange that they werent accepting reservations past 5 months from now. I just assumed what you could do online and over the phone are the same, but I guess its not.
