Disneyland Hotel - With Pictures

thanks for the pic's we leave tomorrow and are staying at the DLH for the first time. The pic's really helped. :rotfl: :Pinkbounc

the rooms are a little more subtle Disney than I thought they would be, but I really like it! The grounds look amazing. I know it's a fun place to visit but I'm extra excited to stay there for a week!

That is a wonderful thread and so informational it's been 4 years since we've stayed at the DLH and that has all the more made me want to wish the next 220 days away until we leave!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I do have a question for you though.... where is the workout room I don't remeber one at the DLH? Oooops one more, can you buy the tuxedo strawberries at the hotel? Thanks again!

The workout room/fitness center is next to the cove/quiet pool.

Tuxedo strawberries? I don't know if they have them there, but I saw them in the candy shop on Main Street last weekend. :)

One question, is there a hot tub/jacuzzi? I think I've seen it mentioned but I don't see it on any of the maps or pictures you've provided.

The jacuzzi is located at the Neverland Pool, and the Little Mermaid overlooks it. I do not remember if there is one at the Cove Pool.

I just love these hotel threads. Any reason I can't bump 'em?

Did you have any issues with the noise level at night from the Lost Boys bar place?

After many hours of walking threw DL i wanted a peaceful night sleep, and they were rockin til 2 in the morning :(

kinda sad that a 23 year old is complaining about noise levels lol.

Just wondering...

We are staying at the Grand California this year :)

I've heard mixed reports about whether DLH has a refrigerator in all rooms. I have heard that if the room does not have one, you can rent one for a small fee (like $5/day.)

I've also heard mixed reports about whether a pack-n-play (playpen) is provided in each room (presumably tucked away in a closet.) We have had our little one sleep in one away from home and it works just fine. Do you know for sure if one of these is in the room? Or if we can request one? If not, I'll request a crib, just didn't want to have to use up the extra space if I didn't have to!

Thanks for the excellent overview! What are the pros and cons of each tower? It's hard to know which one to request.

I don't know if this question was answered elsewhere...? We are also wondering which tower to request. I have heard the Bonita Tower rooms overlooking the waterfall area are quiet (noise from the waterfall drowns out the other noises), so we are leaning toward that. We typically retire pretty early (9-10pm), and want to make sure we all get a good night's sleep for these days at the parks!!!

mary jo.... your pics are great! thx for postin' them

We're planning our first trip to Disneyland and we're staying at the DHL if all goes as planned, so thank you for posting the pictures. They are great!!!

I just booked the DLH for this August. It is our first time staying there. I am so excited.
Thanks for all the info!

Thanks for posting the pictures. I'm planning to stay there for the first time this July - only for two nights. But I'm so excited. Thanks for sharing.

To both Monami & Kristie, I would suggest that you add a request for the Dreams tower for your stay. Dreams tower is the first one to be renovated and the new rooms are wonderful!

Have a great trip!

I will have my fingers crossed to get a renovated room during my stay in August. We love DLH no matter what room we get, but it would be nice to have one of these beautiful rooms.
