I just searched through the DL Hotel description & noticed they have standard room & 1, 2, 3 bedroom suites. This is great, but they didn't mention how many can sleep in each room type.

Does anyone know what size accomodation I would need to stay at the DL Hotel with 5 in our party?? :sunny:

Yes, the rooms are really nice sized and can fit 5 easily. Some of the rooms have daybeds (plus two queens or maybe doubles). However, if you don't get a daybed room, they will bring you a rollaway for free no problem. In fact, my daughter thinks the rollaways are more comfy than the daybeds. And the rooms are so oversized, you can leave the rollaway set up in the corner which is nice. Have a great trip!

Because of the ages of our kids we always get a room that sleeps 5. Once we were given a corner room and they are even a bit bigger than the other rooms that sleep 5. The rooms with the daybeds are great and my kids don't mind sleeping on them. We stayed at PP last time we visited DL and I think the the rooms there are bigger but our family prefers DL resort. Our next trip is in June and we are going with the AAA package, the unlimited fastpasses did it!!

mousemom with the corner room what type of view did you have ?
we have 5 people is which one person of the five is my dad and he doesnt mind sleeping on the pull out couches in the 1 bedrooms at wdw so i know he wont mind sleeping on the daybed. But my concern was the room big enough for 5 people ? are the rooms laidout like the polynesian or contemporary ?

We have never stayed at the Polynesian or Contemporary but we have stayed at the value, moderates and AKL and the rooms at DL are bigger then any of these. We always stay in the main building where you check in and the corner room we had faced the pool, it was very nice. One time we had a standard view room that we ended up really liking because we were on an upper floor and could see the fireworks every night. The other two buildings will have a pool view and one, I think, looks over DC. When you walk into the rooms the bathroom/vanity area are first, and then the beds, t.v., table, and daybed. Each room has a sliding door out to a railing that you can open and look out. It is not big enough for a table or chairs, like at WDW, but it is nice to open and look out. Our last visit we had a friend of the kids go, we had 5 in the room and it was comfortable and fine for all of us. Like I said in my previous post, we stayed at PP and did not care for it as much as DL hotel. Even though PP is across the street from DC it is nice to walk out of our building and feel like I'm right there at Disney.
