Disneyland Hotel towers?

Hi...this will be my first trip to disneyland..we go to wdw every year but I know nothing about the disneyland resort...I see there are 3 towers...I booked a downtown veiw....which of the towers is the best to be in...and which tower is the best to to have easy excess to things...about how far is the walk to the parks....I know I saw a sight somewhere explaining the resort and towers but can;t find in now...any help or site would be great....thanks....amy

my favorite tower is the marina...pool view...just seems more action goes on over there...also its right next to the coffee house closest tower to DD and the park would be Sierra...as far as distance? well I guess if you walk straight from the hotel without stopping to gaze at ANYTHING...it would be about 10 min...I however, cannot get there in 10 min EVER!!! firstly I stop along the way all the time and secondly, Im very short with very short legs so it takes me FOREVER!!! hope this helps
