Anyone have any experience with the 2 or 3 bedroom suites at the Disneyland Hotel ?

We will have 11 total in our group and I am considering a 2 bdr suite and a single room or maybe the 3 bdr suite .

Opinions ?

Do you need to stay on site..? I for one think the hotels are very overpriced. I would rather spend less on the room and more on meals, etc in the parks. There are several hotels in the area that offer 3 bedrooms and full kitchens too....... I would go for that option over onsite.. but that is my two cents!

Which do you think would be best for an extended family? I would love to find a 2 or 3 bedroom hotel for our trip.
