Are the rooms at Disneyland that you get for DVC points standard rooms that sleep a maximum of 4 people?

Good question. I have been wondering this also. We would like to use points to go to DL just once to say we have been there and see it.

I hear....that there is no comparison between WDL and WDW. I sure would like to see it though.

Both time we stayed at DLH we had rooms that had 2 queen beds and a day bed that was single bed size so could have slept 5 easily. One time they also brought up a roll-a-way bed because of a misunderstanding so we could have slept 6 in that room. We sent it back as we didn't need it. I don't think there was a charge for the roll-a-way bed but don't know what the policy is now. At the GC they did not have rollaways and the room was much smaller. They did send up a floor mat and sleeping bag for one of our teens to use.(The first time we stayed on points we had 3 days at GC and 3 at DLH) We were at the DLH last in 2005 for the 50th anniversary. It was well worth the points and the parks are different. There are some things that are definitely better than at WDW and some things that aren't but it is certainly worth the trip.

We stayed at the DLH last summer on points. We are a family of five and slept comfortably while we were there. There was a sofa that folded down and made a twin sized bed (if I remember this correctly). Our kids were 13,10, and 6 at the time, so I don't know if the room would comfortably work for older, bigger kids or not. We enjoyed our stay there and would do it again - it was well worth the points.

We are a family of 5. Last year we stayed at the DLH and the GC on points. I wanted to try both out because I didn't know if we would be going back to DL. In the GC we had a queen and bunk beds with a trundle. The DLH we had 2 queens and the day bed. It was a great trip and I would love to go again.
