Disneyland Hotel questions....

We have a room reserved for 3 nights at the DL Hotel. I have a couple questions:

1. Will we have a fridge in the room for us to use?

2. Does the monorail come to the hotel? If so, does it stop at both parks?

Thanks,
DJ

The monorail station is in Downtown Disney right next to the hotel. The only other station is at Tomorrowland at Disneyland. The only way to get to DCA is to walk, which isn't very far at all. It is a 6 minute walk to either park from the DL Hotel.

In October , no fridge.

In January, I requested a fridge and got it.

The monorail from the Sierra and Marina Tower is about a 3 minute walk, The monorail from the Bonita Tower is about a 6 minute walk.

It has one stop - tommorrowland.

Is there a cost to ride the monorail? Is it only for people who stay at the Disney Hotels?

You just need your park ticket.

There is preference on the return trip (DL to DD) to guests staying at Disney's hotels.

Thanks everyone!

We were just watching that new Extreme Makeover for homes show last night, and they sent the mom and kids to Disneyland. They showed them in their hotel and they were in the DISNEYLAND HOTEL! We got so excited! I told the girls that is where we are staying in April!

Anyway, I guess I can live for 3 days without a frigde. We move to the Candy Cane Inn after that and I believe they do have one (then for a week at the Embassy Suites in San Diego and they have a kitchenette there). We will probably be at the parks most of the time anyway.

It should be fun to ride the monorail to the parks. We have the 5 day hopper tickets so I want to take things slow and just enjoy our time. We are usually at WDW, so our main focus will be on the things that are in California and not in Florida. The new Snow White show sounds cute! I just saw some pictures from it on another board and can't wait to see it!:

I believe most of the rooms are equipped with refrigerators. I've stayed there 3 times and have always had one without requesting it.

I was just there last weekend & the room had one (they are inside the armoir). I've always stayed in the Marina Tower, so maybe all the rooms in this tower have them.

Have Fun!

Thanks! I will keep my fingers crossed. We are going to stop and pick up some sodas and snacks on our way from San Diego, so if there is no fridge, we can just use ice with the sodas. I am sure it will be a great stay either way.

Thanks!

Have stayed there twice and had a fridge both times. Call the morning of your check in and request it. I did that for a daybed room and got it no problem. Tell them you have medication that needs to be refrigerated, works every time!

<font color=navy>I stayed in the Bonita Towers and we had a fridge w/no problem. If you don't call ahead of time, just ask when you check in, and if they have a room with a fridge available, they'll give it to you.

Thanks! I will check with the hotel about having a room with a fridge. It would be so nice to have one in the room. I wish it was just 'standard' in all hotel rooms.
