Can i ask...what view are you likely to get if you book a standard room? :)

Thanks

Either back towards the village (but not in the main section, so a diagonal type view from a wing) or into one of the interior courtyards/gardens.

I don't think you'd get a view overlooking the park if that's what you were thinking - I believe they are only reserved for Castle Club & Suites. You do get a great view at breakfast each morning though from Inventions :goodvibes

On the DLH thread I think I've posted a view from our standard room - we had a ground floor room onto some garden (on the side I think?) so had a little terrace and table set - I guess it would be nice to use at the end of the day in the summer maybe but we saw no use for it this trip.

We did ask for/have connecting rooms with Mum & Dad for the kids though so that may have limited where we were put IYSWIM.

Last week we were in a top floor room in on of the wings looking into the park. We had a view of the station at the top of mainstreet and could also partially see the castle. I guess we were lucky with our room:)

Hi

We had a standard room and I think we had a good view, over entrance, you could just see the top of big thunder mounain if you pressed your face against the window !! not very good photos i'm afraid.

Wow! Very lucky!!

did you take a picture??

Gosh you were lucky Fifi Rose! :goodvibes I still think the 'best' views tend to be kept for the CC though which is a shame :lmao: I just loved looking out the window each day at Inventions and I *think* that's the sort of same level as the CC isn't it?

Just a though to the OP - if you are wanting a park view why not request it? It can't harm to ask. I emailed my request for connecting rooms with my reservation number. They came back and said they couldn't guarantee it but would try :) They did it!

I will be happy with what ever view i get...im just happy being in the Disney hotel!....just wondering what different views people got!.hehe:goodvibes

I think once you've set your heart on it, you might as well go for it. I decided that it was a 'one off' treat for us and although I knew that £320 would buy a lot of souvenirs etc, I just wanted to experience DLH. I upgraded a few weeks ago and I haven't had a single regret!

Thankyou guys for all the pictures and info, I'm close to bursting and we wont be there until Jan 5th!!!!
:thumbsup2
